Begun in 1979 with a handful of choristers, The Keene Chorale has grown to an eighty-voice chorus with a reputation for musical excellence and exciting performances. A non-auditioned cross-generational ensemble, we are composed of singers of all ages and from many walks of life across the Monadnock region, as well as local high school and college singers. The Chorale provides the inspiration and enlightenment of fine choral music for the enjoyment of the people of Keene, New Hampshire and its environs. The Keene Chorale concerts, featuring sixty to eighty singers along with instrumentalists and frequent soloists, are given twice a year in mid-December and April/May  with rehearsals beginning in early September and early January, respectively.
